Case study · Fintech & insurance

An auto insurer nearly tripled its search clicks.

Plain answers to the questions drivers ask before they buy non-standard cover, then a direct path to a quote.

Client
Non-standard auto insurer, name withheld
Measured in
Google Search Console, May '25 to Jul '26

Monthly organic clicks from Google Search Console. Paid clicks are not included.

The problem

Drivers who need non-standard cover search a lot before they buy, and the agency's site answered little of it. We also had no access to its theme.

What we did

  • A steady publishing program

Hundreds of posts in the first year, on the questions drivers search before they buy.

  • Landing pages beside the theme

Built as a plugin because the theme was off limits, with a tested hero and tracked links.

  • A path to a quote

Calls to action inside the articles and a short quiz, so readers can start a quote.

What changed

Monthly clicks nearly tripled in fifteen months. They peaked in March, eased, and still sit well above the same month last year. These are clicks, not quotes.

Where it stands

The agency has since brought search in-house. The chart ends at the last month we measured.
