- Google Search Console, Apr '25 to Jul '26
Monthly organic clicks from Google Search Console. The January spike was one month and fell back.
The problem
Employers search for a skill, a tool or an industry, not a marketplace's name. Most of those searches had no page to land on.
What we did
Pages employers search
Page sets for skills, tools and industries, each with its own content, not a swapped-in keyword.
A platform rebuild
The site moved from WordPress to a custom application, with a separate blog.
Non-brand as the growth number
Brand and non-brand reported apart from day one, so growth could not hide behind the name.
What changed
Monthly clicks grew almost ninefold in sixteen months, and nine in ten come from searches that don't include the name.
What's next
Salary pages by role, held to the same data rule as the rest of the set.
